The cast for the new anime adaptation of Wound & Bandage has been expanded with the addition of voice actors Yōko Hikasa and Yuka Iguchi. Hikasa will voice Matsu Daemon, while Iguchi is set to portray Magical Penpengusa. Both characters are members of the "bandage alliance," an internet community that also includes the protagonist Riyu Washizu, who operates under the username Wamp Samurai. This group is defined by a shared interest in seeing strong individuals weakened.

The romantic comedy series follows Riyo Washizu, the daughter of the leader of a yakuza organization based in Japan's Kanto region. Her caretaker, Gō Kiritani, initially expects her to be docile but soon discovers her specific fetish for observing powerful people in vulnerable states. The source material is a manga that debuted on Kodansha's Comic Days app in August 2024, with the fifth volume released on July 16.

The anime is scheduled to air starting January 9 as part of the Animazing!!! programming block on ABC and TV Asahi. This late-night slot airs at 26:00 on Saturday nights, which corresponds to 2:00 a.m. on Sunday mornings. The series will also premiere earlier that same day on AT-X at 11:00 p.m., followed by a streaming release on ABEMA thirty minutes after the ABC and TV Asahi broadcast.
